A Guide to Preparing the Best Cup of Tea

Like any other craft, understanding and implementing proper method will ensure your cup of tea will be the best it can be. It is key to focus on the quality of your tea and water, and brewing your tea at the correct temperature for the proper amount of time. Though, each one of us are individual and may have different preferences; however, at Jardin Tea we live by this guide for our cup of tea!

  • Steep 3 grams (~1 tea scoop) of tea leaves per 8 oz of water.

  • The longer you steep your tea, the stronger it will be - some blends can get bitter.

  • It is ideal to use filtered water for the most true to flavor cup of tea.

  • Add additions like milk, sweeteners (honey, sugar, etc.), ginger, lemon wedge, etc. last
